Our Values
What We Believe: Freedom, Democracy, & Security 🇺🇸
America is an idea — stronger than any army, bigger than any ocean, and more powerful than any dictator or tyrant.
We believe in the promise of America: a country defined not by blood or identity, but by the values we choose to inherit and the future we choose to build.
Government should serve the people — not the powerful.
Democracy should work for all Americans, not just wealthiest one percent. Public service is a sacred responsibility: power must always answer to the people.
All people are created equal — and deserve dignity, safety, & respect under the law.
We champion civil rights, equal opportunity, and the protection of those who are too often ignored: the last, the least, and the lost.
Freedom is non-negotiable.
Your life is yours to live:
- freedom from violence and fear,
- freedom from government overreach,
- freedom to love who you love,
- freedom to pursue your dreams,
- freedom to belong without apology.
Capitalism should work for everyone, not just the wealthy.
Capitalism should reward hard work — not just wealth. Every American deserves a shot at the American Dream & the opportunity to live a prosperous, stable, and a dignified life.
Where law ends, tyranny begins.
We defend the Constitution, the rule of law, and the institutions that safeguard our democracy from authoritarianism and extremism.
Diversity is the source of America’s strength.
Our differences make us stronger. Hate, bigotry, antisemitism, and Islamophobia have no place in any society.
Strong families build strong futures.
We can strengthen families and uphold the institution of marriage by expanding economic security, stability, and opportunity so every household has the foundation to thrive — all while respecting the freedom of every American to build a life and family of their choosing.
Democracy is still worth defending.
Democracy is not self-executing. We must protect it from corruption, extremism, foreign influence, and those who would dismantle it for power.
Healthcare is a human right.
No American should have to gamble their savings to save their life.
Climate change is real.
Protecting our planet is protecting our future. Environmental stewardship is both moral and patriotic.
Religion belongs in the heart — not in the law.
America thrives when faith is personal, not political. We must reject Christian nationalism and commit ourselves to the project of democracy where every person and every family — regardless of religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other difference between us — can truly be free and live up to their full potential.
Truth still matters.
Facts are not partisan. Honesty, rationality, and science are essential to governing a modern nation.
Science is the engine of American prosperity.
Science isn’t a conspiracy. Innovation, research, and technology are how we compete, grow, and lead the world.
Innovation without exploitation.
Technology should make life easier, safer, and more productive — not more chaotic or exploitative. America can lead the world in innovation while setting clear, consistent guardrails that protect our children, support our workers, and ensure the integrity of our information ecosystem.
Secure borders includes respecting human dignity.
Our border should be like a front porch — it should have a welcome mat out front and a lock on the door. We can welcome immigrants and keep out those who mean to do us harm.
We honor those who serve.
Veterans, first responders, service members, and local law enforcement officers deserve our respect, accountability, and unwavering support. With safe schools, safe streets, & safe communities all Americans can feel safe and have the chance to thrive.
America must lead with strength, cooperation, and moral clarity.
Isolationism weakens us. America First should mean America in first place — not America alone and afraid. We must revitalize our role as a beacon of hope on the world stage rallying international cooperation against modern threats & leading the way in peace, prosperity, and democracy.
Patriotism means progress.
Love our country? Make it better.
The American Dream is still possible – our best days are yet to come.
Hope is not naïve. Hope is power. And together, we can usher in a new era not about division, but about putting progress over politics – rolling back the barriers that keep us from living the American dream, solving the problems that we all share, & truly living up to that timeless creed that America is the greatest country in the history of the world. Our country can’t reach its full potential unless we all do.
