“Turning Point USA’s student-focused convention concluded yesterday after three days of slinging conspiracy theories and spreading disinformation and hate.
Speakers included Donald Trump Jr., Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene , Vivek Ramaswamy, and other toxic rightwing voices. They lied about the Jan 6th attacks, spread Islamophobia, and suggested women have ‘8, 9, or 10 children’ as part of their racist ‘Replacement Theory.’
While Turning Point — flagged by the ADL as a hate group — may appear fringe, the reality is that dozens of prominent extreme MAGA voices attended the convention because of the well-funded, well-organized, effort to indoctrinate young Americans with anti-democracy ideologies. Turning Point USA is so entrenched it even backs rightwing college kids running for student government positions.
Unfortunately, some polls suggest their efforts are working. In particular, 12th grade boys are trending more conservative than in decades past.
Dream for America was started with one goal in mind — fighting back against Turning Point and their attempt to poison our generation with MAGA hate. We are a pro-Biden, Gen-Z led group fighting for the political and culture future of our generation.
