William He on the BBC

Back to News

Our founder, William He, joined the BBC to discuss the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk and the rising tide of political violence in America.

“Political violence, and gun violence, is becoming far too common — and too often celebrated. It has NO place in America and is a growing cancer on the United States. As long as it continues to fester — it will spare no party, nor ideology.”

William made it clear:
– Political violence is a sign of a society in decline.
– Democracy cannot survive if radicalism and violence replace debate and dialogue.
– Free speech and civil discourse are rights every American deserves — regardless of political affiliation.

“I agree with Charlie Kirk on almost nothing — except that he deserves the right, as every American does, to speak freely without the threat of violence. No matter your politics, we can agree that something has to change.”

Dream for America believes that political debate must be met with words, not weapons. We cannot allow this kind of violence to be normalized in America. Let’s not lose sight of who we are as Americans.
