DFA Sponsors Texas Tribune’s TribFest 2025, Engages Young Texans in Civic Leadership

Back to News

Dream for America (DFA) proudly sponsored The Texas Tribune’s TribFest 2025, one of the nation’s premier gatherings focused on politics, public policy, and civic dialogue. The organization reported strong engagement from young Texans eager to participate in conversations about the future of their communities and the country.

Throughout the festival, DFA leaders connected with students and attendees at the Open Congress activation space, where young people engaged directly with journalists, lawmakers, organizers, and community leaders. The event reinforced DFA’s mission to ensure the next generation is informed, empowered, and equipped to lead.

“TribFest once again showed the power of bringing young people into serious civic conversations,” said William He, Founder and CEO of Dream for America. “When given the opportunity, our generation consistently shows up ready to engage, question, and lead.”

Dream for America expressed appreciation to The Texas Tribune, partner organizations, and the hundreds of students who visited the DFA table during the festival. The organization views TribFest as a key moment in its broader strategy to expand youth civic engagement infrastructure across Texas and nationwide.
