One year ago today, Dream for America embarked on a journey to defend our democracy, fight against fascism, and take on Turning Point USA. The impact, growth, and lives changed has exceeded our wildest expectations, and one thing is certain: the Dream for America model shows promise and great potential!
Dream for America is punching above our weight, under promising and over delivering. We are building a movement and the necessary moving parts to win America’s culture war for progressive values & rally young people to uphold liberal democracy. And the crazy part is, 99% of the work we do on a daily basis will never make a single headline. But, we don’t work for recognition — we work for results.
And the headlines are in: we’re growing faster than TPUSA did in its first year.
This past year, we’ve:
- Recruited a volunteer network that covers all 50 states
- Distributed thousands of dollars in grants mobilizing students to organize for progressivism & stop Turning Point USA on campus
- Generated national coverage over counter protests against TPUSA & Kyle Rittenhouse’s college speaking tour at various campuses
- Conducted our Pulse of Gen-Z poll showing broad support for Pres. Biden & charting the course for our chapter advocacy
- Unveiled our Gen-Z Bill of Right’s policy platform guiding our chapter organizing & digital messaging
- Reached Americans 100+ million times through our daily content & digital strategy
- Out-raised Turning Point USA’s first year fundraising 2-to-1 in just 6 months
- Partnered with the Biden-Harris campaign on a historic coalition of 14 other youth-voter groups to endorse them for re-election – with the goal of mobilizing 500,000 student volunteers to make 155+ million direct voter contacts
